TEHRAN -- Hezbollah has announced that it will make a “thunderous” revelation proving that Israel masterminded the assassination of former Lebanese premier Rafik Hariri.

The Lebanese resistance movement's secretary general, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, will provide “comprehensive” evidence verifying that the 2005 assassination was engineered by Tel Aviv, Hezbollah media relations officer Ibrahim Mousavi said on Saturday.
The evidence will be “revealing conclusive information,” the Ma'an news agency quoted Mousavi as saying.
Nasrallah said on August 3, “I accuse the Israeli enemy of the assassination of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and… I will prove this by unveiling sensitive information at a press conference on Monday (August 9).”
Nasrallah’s speech was scheduled to be delivered last night after the Tehran Times’ press time.
He has also warned about the attempts by the Israelis and the United Nations tribunal investigating the incident to link Hezbollah to the assassination.
The Special Tribunal for Lebanon, which was set up by the UN and the Lebanese government in May 2007, plans to release the results of its investigation by the end of the year.
