TEHRAN – Iranian military forces plan to hold large-scale military exercises dubbed Defenders of the Sky of Velayat during the second half of the Iranian calendar month of Aban (October 23 to November 21).

Iran’s armed forces and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps will take part in the military drills, which are scheduled to be carried out in three stages.
During the military maneuvers various vehicles, defense systems and equipment such as tanks, personnel carriers, hovercrafts, fighter jets, destroyers, ballistic missiles, radars, air defense missile systems, anti-aircraft guns, anti-cruise missile system, upgraded artillery, electronic warfare and anti-jamming systems will be tested throughout the country.
