Iranian, Slovenian graphic designers share 2nd prize at Japanese contest @= Tehran Times Art Desk

TEHRAN -- The second prize of the 2010 Tokyo Designers Week was shared by Iranian and Slovenian graphic designers on November 16.

“Life Is My Right” by Khashayar Teimuri from Iran and “For Our Children’s Children” by Miha Kosmac from Slovenia won the award at the competition organized by Designboom magazine on the theme of “Endangered Species”.
The first prize went to Israeli artist Anna Braverman with “Living Tracks”.
The jury was composed of Katsumi Asaba, Kashiwa Sato, Kenji Kawasaki, Shobun Nakashima and Noriaki Hayashi.
Works by Iranian graphic designers Alireza Nosrati, Hajir Roshangar, Amir Khojasteh and Mohammad Abolhassanzadeh were also among the entries at the competition.
