Croatian Miroslav Blazevic has been named as head coach of the Chinese Olympic team.

The Chinese Football Association (CFA) is bringing Blazevic in after the team's disappointing performance at the Asian Games in Guangzhou last month. He replaces Chinese coach Sun Wei.
It was announced on state media that Blazevic has signed a two-year contract, which will expire in December 2012. Li Bing was named assistant coach. Blazevic, 75, who coached Croatia to third place in the 1998 FIFA World Cup™, led Shanghai Shenhua to third place in the Chinese Super League this year.
He resigned as Bosnia-Herzegovina's national coach last year after the team failed to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
