TEHRAN -- India’s National Security Adviser has said many of the predictions that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had made about the developments in the world are proving correct.

Shiv Shankar Menon made the remarks during a meeting with Ahmadinejad in Tehran on Monday night.
Menon told Ahmadinejad, “Many of the predictions that you had made about political and economic developments in the world are becoming true. The world order is changing and the current condition has contributed to the expansion of relations between Iran and India.”
He also called on the Iranian and Indian officials to utilize the two countries’ potential to establish strategic ties.
Ahmadinejad said the two independent states of Iran and India play key roles in the promotion of a new world order based on justice and friendship.
He added the independent countries must remain vigilant and do not allow the forces of imperialism to impose a cruel system, similar to the current one, on the entire globe.
India’s National Security adviser also met with Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani and Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on Tuesday.
