‘Iran to build new radar system’

TEHRAN – Iran is working to manufacture a radar system which is capable of intercepting stealth aircraft, Brigadier General Mohammad Hassan Mansourian said on Tuesday.

Iran has valuable experience in manufacturing anti-aircraft systems and it currently has a high deterrent capability compared to other regional countries.
“The (designing of) anti-aircraft system of the country is moving in a progressive way,” Mansourain, the deputy commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Anti-Aircraft Base, told IRNA news agency.
