Iran’s nuclear program cannot be ignored by foreign officials under any circumstances, even with the current problematic situation in the Middle East and North Africa, in which the interests of the Western powers are being seriously threatened. Now the Westerners are using anti-Iran propaganda to deal with the current wave of Arab uprisings.

The statements and reports that come out from time to time, especially those issued by the International Atomic Energy Agency in relation to Iran’s nuclear program, are like a never-ending TV series.
There are serious problems with the latest IAEA reports on Iran, and especially the legal charges they contain, which in my opinion are not based on logical reasoning. According to IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano, Iran’s nuclear program and activities are entirely peaceful and they have been conducted within the framework of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Therefore, the issues raised in the latest report have no legal basis.
The report tries to give the impression that Iran is not cooperating with the agency, but all of the evidence and the numerous inspections by IAEA inspectors prove that Iran has always cooperated with the IAEA in line with the terms of the NPT.
Under pressure from Western countries, Amano is trying to level baseless allegations against Iran in regard to its nuclear activities, with the eventual goal of restricting the sphere of Iran’s influence.
Certainly, no one can find any diversion in Iran’s nuclear program, and in fact, the false accusations are being made as part of a grand strategy that apparently must always be manifested in all IAEA reports in order to hinder Iran’s nuclear and scientific progress. However, this intrigue has had no effect on the will and determination of Iranian scientists. Iran will not capitulate under any circumstances, and the train of Iran’s nuclear progress will continue on its path as quickly as possible.
Iran’s military program has no need for a nuclear weapon or any other non-peaceful nuclear technology. Moreover, the great Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, has issued a fatwa declaring that the production, stockpiling, and use of nuclear weapons are all haram (prohibited in Islam), and Iranian officials have made this religious edict an important element of national policy.
The West is aware of the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities. Thus, such allegations are only being made to provide a pretext to undermine Iran’s political position in the region and at the international level.
Meanwhile, Iran’s diplomatic apparatus must come out of the passive mode. Of course, it is the duty of Iran’s diplomats to respond to the false accusations made by the IAEA and certain Western countries. But they should also try to gain an understanding of the Westerners’ weaknesses in terms of foreign policy. By adopting such a dynamic strategy, we can better deal with these baseless allegations being made about Iran’s nuclear activities.
The ineffectiveness of the Western pressure on Iran has been repeatedly accepted in many political circles inside and outside Iran.
The West’s main fear is that Iran will transfer its nuclear expertise to neighboring Arab countries. However, Iran’s scientific capabilities do not create any threats for the region and these capabilities are being developed to serve all Islamic countries.
And thus, the Westerners have decided to make the promotion of Iranophobia the main point of their latest plan in order to create hatred and fear of Iran in the region.
However, the policy of promoting the convergence of Islamic countries is one of the fundamental principles in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Apparently, the West is resorting to Iran’s nuclear issue in an attempt to distract the world’s attention from the current critical situation in the Middle East and North Africa. In fact, the Westerners are waging psychological warfare against Iran as part of a damage control program meant to reduce the fallout from the anti-Western protests in the region, which has been harming their interests.
