TEHRAN -- The Iranian Foreign Ministry has announced it is unaware of any visit by a Taliban delegation to Tehran.

“We are not aware of such news. Of course I have seen the report and we should investigate and see what information the sources used when they published the report,” spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said in a press conference Wednesday.

On Tuesday a report said a Qatar-based Taliban delegation was led by Tayyeb Aqa to Tehran for talks on regional affairs.
