TEHRAN - Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano will arrive in Tehran on Thursday in a bid to discuss the latest developments in ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 group in Vienna.

An informed source close to the Iranian negotiating team said on Wednesday that Amano will visit Iran to receive the country's proposals on clearing up certain misunderstandings over the country's nuclear program, the Tasnim news agency reported.

Amano is expected to hold talks with President Hassan Rouhani and Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani during his stay here.

Amano has met Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in recent days in Vienna.
