TEHRAN - On Wednesday, a high-ranking Chinese military delegation headed by the country’s deputy chief of joint staff of army visited Tehran.

The delegation was greeted by Armed Forces Joint Affairs chief Mohammad Baqeri, Asriran reported.
Baqeri said, “Iran and China enjoy similar positions and we are going to strengthen our military ties as we have our economic ties.”

“We hold the same position regarding America’s unilateralism and are looking forward to forming an Asian structure and promoting the Shanghai agreement.”
