TEHRAN -- Director general of the Metal and Electric industries affiliated to Ministry of Industries and Mines, Mozaffar A'vani, here on Sunday said that in first quarter of current Iranian year (started March 21), 1.7 million tons of steel were imported to Iran, which show a 100 percent increase compared to last year's similar period.
