Ja'far Golbaz, the rapporteur for the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said that the commission approved a bill on Sunday according to which six provinces will each be a single electoral district in the seventh Majlis elections.

Golbaz told the Mehr News Agency that the six provinces of Isfahan, Fars, East Azerbaijan, Zanjan, Lorestan, and Gilan have been selected to test the new electoral system.
