The word, if etymologized, means “the mystery between man and the heavens”.

“Techniques, esteem, and uniform allured me to enter the world of martial arts 31 years ago,” said Rostami adding self-defense is a traditional security system that has promoted to an international sporting field.

The self-defense skills are trained at different levels and for various purposes. The trainees, trainers, bodyguards, security and peace forces, and masters are trained in self-defense classes.

Rostami, who has been training self-defense since 14 years ago, noted there is no age limit for learning the skills.
