WARSAW (Chinaview) -- Poland's parliament will vote on Sept. 7 on a motion allowing self-dissolution, Ludwik Dorn, speaker of Poland's Sejm, or lower house of the parliament said.

Dorn, who called himself the ""Sejm liquidator,"" said there were no more reasons for the Sejm to continue as it was unable to form a majority government and carry on with legislative proceedings in an efficient way.
If the motion is passed, early elections would have to be held within 45 days, Dorn said. The lower house may dissolve the parliament with a two third's majority of at least 307 votes.
Dorn said that if the motion for cutting short Sejm tenure failed to find sufficient majority among lawmakers, he would ask President Lech Kaczynski to consider ""taking the political patronage over the alternative path leading to Sejm dissolution by the president.""
""It was my duty to tell the president about such possibility,"" Dorn said.
Polish Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, who has sought the early vote as a way out of political instability, said he would like the election to take place on Oct. 21, and the timing of the parliament vote would allow for that.
Kaczynski's ruling Law and Justice party has 150 seats in the Sejm
