TEHRAN -- The Saba Art and Cultural Institute is hosting the third edition of the school book illustration exhibit.

Over 300 works by 115 illustrators have been put on display in three sections -- text illustrations, illustrations on the theme of the prophets and Molana Rumi and illustrations selected from the previous two years’ school books.
There is also to be a special session on December 8, as a sideline to the event, when artists and experts will discuss the role of illustrative works in school texts.
The exhibit has been organized to aid in the introduction of talented artists, to get to know the problems they encounter in their profession and help develop the art of school book illustration.
The best works will be selected and awarded on the final day of the event, December 12, at the venue which is located on Mozaffar St., Taleqani Ave, near Palestine Sq
