TEHRAN -- Iran’s cinema retrospective will be held at the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies from February 6 to 9.

Actors Ali Nasirian, Golshifteh Farahani and Hossein Yari will attend the event and Ebrahim Hatamikia’s “The Scent of Joseph’s Shirt” and Rasul Mollaqolipur’s “M for Mother” will be screened at the university.
An exhibition of photos of Iran’s tourist attractions and monuments will be held on the sidelines of the event.
------Iranian professor to judge Zagreb animation festival
TEHRAN -- Iranian professor at IRIB’s University Saeid Tavakolian has been selected as a member of the jury at the Zagreb World Festival of Animated Films, MNA reported on Thursday.
He will be judging the Student Film Competition Section of the gala. The festival will be held in Zagreb, Croatia from May 31 to June 5.
------Farhang Sharif to go on European concert tour
TEHRAN –- Tar virtuoso Farhang Sharif is to go on a concert tour of Europe during Noruz, the Iranian New Year holidays, from March 21 to April 1.
He will travel to Germany, Sweden, Belgium and France. During the event he will be performing ancient melodies and traditional regional songs on the theme of Noruz in addition to some improvised pieces..
