LAHORE, June 30 (MNA) – The implementation of a massive high-voltage transmission line in Pakistan worth $50 million has been won in an international tender by the Iranian company SANIR.

IRNA reported that the contract was signed on Monday in the central building of Pakistan’s National Transmission and Dispatch Company in Lahore between the managing director of SANIR Reza Ebadzadeh and Manager of the high-voltage transmission lines Mohammad Akram.
According to the contract the engineering design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPC contract) are up to the Iranian contractor.
Meanwhile Ebadzadeh stated that SANIR has carried out over 150 projects in 14 countries worth $1.02 billion.
On his part Akram expressed his satisfaction with the contract and hoped that this project will help increase the technical knowledge of the Pakistanis and help expand mutual relations
