ST LOUIS (Reuters) - Milwaukee's Prince Fielder won Major League Baseball's Home Run Derby when he out-hit Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz in the final round of the All-Star Game tune-up Monday.

Fielder, the Brewers' All-Star first baseman, had six home runs to Cruz's five in the deciding round at Busch Stadium after he had earlier belted the longest homer of the contest, a 503-foot shot to right-center field in the second round.
""I was just happy to be able to put on a show and I'm glad I won,"" Fielder said when presented his winner's trophy on the field.
He finished with 23 homers to Cruz's 21 while home favorite Albert Pujols of the St Louis Cardinals was eliminated in the second round.
