Second place for Iran in Asian Canoe Championships

TEHRAN - Iran came second in the 13th Asian Canoe Sprint Championship on Tuesday.

In the event held in Tehran’s Azadi Lake, Iran finished in second place behind Kazakhstan.
The Iranians won 14 gold medals, 13 silvers and 8 bronzes. Kazakhstan claimed the title with 22 golds, 11 silvers and 9 bronzes. Uzbekistan came third bagging 9 golds, 10 silvers and 9 bronzes.
Iran finished fourth place in the previous edition which was held in South Korea
