Iran to participate in Taekwondo World Championships

TEHRAN - Iran will travel to Copenhagen, Denmark, on Friday to take part in the 19th WTF Taekwondo World Championships.

Iran will participate in the event with eight men and four women.
The WTF Taekwondo World Championships is held every other year. Last time the WC was held in Beijing in 2007. Athletes fight in 16 weight classes - 8 for men and 8 for women.
The event will be held at the Ballerup Super Arena, from 14 to 18 October
