* A collection of Persian felts created by Mirmola Sorayya are on display at Tehran’s Homa Gallery.

The collection features a link between the practical arts and modern visual arts.
The exhibit which opened Friday will run through March 15 at the gallery located at No. 27 Chehrazi St., near the intersection of Niayesh Highway and Vali-e Asr Ave.
Pictorial carpet design
* An exhibition of pictorial carpet designs of ancient Iran selected from the book compiled by veteran sculptor Parviz Tanavoli will open on Friday at Golestan Gallery.
These designs do not resemble the usual images seen on carpets today. Instead, most of them carry images of humans and animals in unusual sizes.
The exhibit will continue until March 18 at the gallery located at 42 Kamasaii St. in the Darrus neighborhood.

* Seyhun Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of photography by veteran artist Jamshid Bayrami.
Bayrami is displaying 8 photos in large sizes in an exhibit named “Black, White, Color”. All photos are offered for sale. Some of the photos feature the Hajj rituals.
