Lebanese, Iranian foreign ministers hold talks in Tehran

TEHRAN – Lebanese Foreign Minister Ali Shami, who had participated in the International Noruz Festivals in Tehran as the special representative of his country’s president, held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on Monday.

The two foreign ministers exchanged views about the latest developments in the region.
Shami conveyed the warm greetings of Lebanon’s president and parliament speaker to Iranian officials and described Tehran-Beirut ties as very strong.
