Arsenal & Tottenham poised to compete for Ben Foster

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be on a collision course in a chase for Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster.

The Blues' shot-stopper spent five years at Manchester United before making the move to St Andrew's last summer, as a replacement for Joe Hart - who returned to his parent club Manchester City.
And now The Mirror reports that a bid of £12 million may sway Birmingham to cash in on a keeper who only joined the club at the beginning of the season.
Spurs are thought to be on the lookout for a goalkeeper to put a stop to Heurelho Gomes' inconsistent performances, the latest evidence of which came in the form of a howler against Real Madrid.
Arsenal, for their part, have had to call on the services of 41-year-old Jens Lehmann due to goalkeeping problems.
