TEHRAN -- Bahraini Foreign Ministry has summoned Iranian charge d’affaires to protest over remarks made by Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati. In a letter delivered to the Iranian diplomat, the Bahraini Foreign Ministry described Jannati’s remarks as hostile toward the Bahraini king. Jannati has said that: “U.S. forces in disguise of Saudi Arabian forces must leave the country (Bahrain).
