TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that interview with Iranian scientists is principally unrelated to nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany).

Pointing to the opposition of the Supreme Leader to any request for interview with Iranian nuclear scientists by certain Western countries in the 5+1 group, Zarif said the approach of all country’s officials is following the Leader’s guidelines.

Last week, in a speech at Imam Hussein University in Tehran, the Leader declared that Iran will never allow any inspection of its military sites or interview with its nuclear scientists under any nuclear deal with major powers.
