Quake hits Firouzkouh and Damavand in Tehran Province

TEHRAN - A relatively strong quake measuring 4.6 degrees on the Richter scale jolted the two cities of Firouzkouh and Damavand in northeastern part of Tehran Province.
According to the Geophysics Institute of the University of Tehran, the two cities were hit by the quake at 10:06 pm local time (17:36 GMT) on Tuesday.There were no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.
The epicenter of the quake was registered at the depth of 10 kilometers, 24 kilometers from Firouzkouh.
