TEHRAN — The Education Ministry will soon begin a healthy food campaign at schools all over the country, a ministry official has said, Fars reported on Tuesday.

The ministry has always observed and monitored school buffets closely and will initiate a campaign concerning healthy food preparation for students soon, Mehrzad Hamidi explained.

In line with the strategy to enhance students’ health, the ministry has also drawn up plans for morning group exercise which begins from November 2, Hamidi said.

Additionally, 8,000 sport centers and 196 basketball and volleyball schools will soon be launched, he added.
