Iranian disabled weightlifters claimed nine gold medals and three silvers in the International Powerlifting Championship in Amman, Jordan on Monday. 

In the last day of the tournament, Iran's Rahman Siamand tried to set a new record 290.5kg during the men's +100kg but the organizers failed to provide his requested weights and he was forced to lift 285kg. 

The Iranian won the gold medal in this category followed by Iraqi and Syrian representatives.
