TEHRAN – A member of the central council of the Servants of Construction Party dismissed on Saturday news reports claiming that reformists have decided to field Mohammad Ali Najafi in the presidential election of 2013. 

 

Such reports are pure speculation, Morteza Sajjadian said. However, he said reformists will nominate a candidate for the election. 

 

Najafi, a former director of the budget and planning organization, is currently a member of Tehran City Council.
