TEHRAN – An Iranian deputy foreign minister has said Tehran is going through legal and bureaucratic stages to make possible the opening of a European Union office in Tehran.

“The domestic measures for reopening the EU office are being taken and this will happen in a few months,” Majid Takht-Ravanchi said on Sunday, according to ILNA.

The EU currently has two diplomats stationed at the Dutch embassy in Tehran, the deputy foreign minister explained.
