Adaptation of “The Little Prince” to go on stage in Tehran

TEHRAN – The Iranian theater troupe Exit led by director Mehrdad Khamenei will stage a loose adaptation of French author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s “The Little Prince” at the Ezzatollah Entezami House Museum in Tehran on January 1, 2017.

The performance is a combination of stage and screen acting.

The stage scenes will be performed by Fereshteh Hosseini and Leili Shojaei while the screen scenes have been completed by a cast, which is composed of Mansur Mirzababai, Maryam Sayad Moqadam, Ghazaleh Kananpanah and Avishan Bikai.

The play is about a little prince who wants to return to his tiny planet and his beloved flower. To do that he must be bitten by a poisonous snake.

The play will remain on stage until January 19.
