TEHRAN – In reaction to U.S. fury over Iran’s recent missile test, the interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran said, “The missile exercises are a show of power for us.”

“The day shall not be when, with an arrogant government like America’s, we remain weaponless and America dare do any damn thing,” Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said, ILNA reported.

“Your Republicans are the same as your Democrats. You have been and are against the pure Mohammadan Islam,” the cleric told the U.S. government.
