TEHRAN – Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari told reporters on Sunday that the recent naval exercise between the Islamic Republic and China was aimed at ensuring the security at the northern Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden.

A Chinese flotilla of warships berthed at Iran’s waters in the Persian Gulf for four-days and conducted a joint war game with the Iranian naval forces on the last day of their stay.
