General Rahimi appointed Tehran’s new police chief

TEHRAN – Brigadier General Hossein Rahimi has been appointed as the new commander of Tehran’s police force, Mehr news agency reported on Monday.

Rahimi formerly served as the police chief of the southeastern province of Sistan-Balouchestan.

In the meantime, Brigadier General Hossein Sajedinia, who previously served as the commander of Tehran police, was appointed as the police operations deputy chief.
