Switzerland willing to expand banking ties with Iran

TEHRAN- In a meeting with the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Governor Valiollah Seif, the Swiss Ambassador to Tehran Marcos Lightner expressed his country’s eagerness for the expansion of banking ties with the Islamic Republic.

He also said that they are encouraging their banks for more cooperation with the Iranian banks, the portal of CBI reported on Monday.

Seif, for his part, expressed happiness over the banking relation between Iran and Switzerland and called for expediting the process of issuing permit for establishment of Iranian banks branches in the European country.
