Imran Khan’s Iran visit ‘vital’ for ties: ex-ambassador

TEHRAN – A former Pakistani ambassador has said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s upcoming visit to Iran is extremely vital to strengthen ties between the two friendly neighbors.

Fauzia Nasreen, the former Pakistani ambassador to Poland and Nepal, said that it is good that the government is focusing to improve trade relations with Iran, IRNA reported, citing state media.

She added that the foreign policy of the current Pakistani administration is moving in the right direction.

“The visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to China and Iran will be vital for strengthening our relations with these countries. China and Iran are our neighbors,” she said.
