SHIRAZ, Fars Province Provincial Law Enforcement Forces (LEF) personnel have seized over 400kg of illicit drugs in various parts of this southern province in the past week, LEF's Public Relations Department reported here Thursday.
The confiscated drugs consisted of 375.5kg of opium, 16.8kg of heroin and 7.8kg of hashish which were seized in the cities of Estahban, Darab and Lamerd as well as the provincial capital of Shiraz.
According to the report, all those directly involved in the smuggling of the illicit drugs were also arrested.
