TEDPIX falls 26,000 points on Wednesday

TEHRAN- TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), lost 26,022 points to 1.241 million on Wednesday.

As reported, over 7.59 billion securities worth 52.947 trillion rials (about $182.6 million) were traded at the TSE.

The first market’s index lost 23,484 points, and the second market’s index dropped 38,723 points. 

TEDPIX lost 9,000 points to 1.31 million in the past Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday). 

TSE is one of the four Iranian stock exchanges, the other three ones are Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), and Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).
