Iranian military says will “cut the foot of aggressor”

TEHRAN – A senior Iranian military spokesman warned on Monday night that Iran will “cut the foot of any aggressor” if its territory comes under attack, warning the U.S., Britain, France and Germany to stop supporting the Zionist regime of Israel.

Reacting to support by certain Western leaders to the Israeli regime, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said, “We remind the heads of state of the United States, Britain, France and Germany to stop supporting the moribund, evil, law-breaking, terrorist and child-killing regime of Israel.”

He added, “You know well that the Islamic Republic of Iran has proven that it is not warmongering and is not also seeking to spread the war.”

But, the senior military spokesman said, if any country, including the United States, Britain, France and Germany, and the “desperate and helpless” regime of Israel do a military adventure against Iran “we will cut its feet more powerfully" than the one Iran did against the “aggressor and evil regime of Israel” in response to its deadly air raid on the Iranian diplomatic premise in Syria on April 1.

“We advise you, instead of condemning the legitimate and legal act of the Islamic Republic of Iran, be wise and do not support the illegitimate, stupid and terrorist regime (of Israel) which has been caught in the quagmire and don’t put yourself in the burning oven,” Shekarchi asserted.

According to the United Nations Charter and the Vienna conventions attacks on diplomatic and consular premises are a violation of international law.

‘Iran will respond in seconds’

In a televised interview on Monday night, the Iranian deputy foreign minister for political affairs also warned that Iran would respond to any fresh Israeli "mistake" against the Islamic Republic “within seconds”.

“In case of repetition of another mistake, they should expect a harsher, faster, and swifter response,” Ali Bagheri Kani said.

He added this time Israel will not be given a “12-day time”.
