TEHRAN – Iran won the title of the International Students Federation (ISF) World School Volleyball Championship Sunday night.

The Iranian team swept past Germany 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 26-24) in the final match held in Belgrade, capital of Serbia.

Iran had previously defeated Germany in Pool D as well as Belgium and Uganda.

Iran also defeated Chinese Taipei in the semifinals before beating Germany once again in the final match.

The team headed by Iran former volleyball player Arash Sadeghian.
