Nategh Nouri elected president of Iran Federation of Sport Associations

TEHRAN – Abbasali Nategh Nouri was elected as president of Iran Federation of Sport Associations on Wednesday.

He was elected for a four-year term till 2028.

In the elections held at Iran’s Academy Olympic in Tehran, Nategh Nouri secured 32 of 59 votes cast.

Sohrab Azad came second with 20 votes.

Iran Federation of Sport Associations is the governing body for 21 minor sports in the country.
