The 54th edition of the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) commenced on Monday in the city of Isfahan and will conclude on July 28.

A total of 198 students from 46 countries including Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Kuwait, Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Mexico, and Turkey are attending the event.
