JAAM-E JAM Deputy head of the health center in Isfahan announced that about 14 percent of the children across the country are affected by malnutrition.

Engineer Mo'attarian in the first session of Health Education Program made the point and said a plan has been put into effect through which we are teaching food health principles to people in order to reduce the malnutrition-related diseases.

He also said that infectious diseases, superstitions, poverty, and lack of food are some of the malnutrition factors affecting the children. Khatami's Candidacy to Make Society Dynamic

IRAN As long as President Mohammad Khatami does not declare his nomination for the June presidential race, the election fever will not rise in society, the newspaper said on Wednesday.

The president should announce his decision as soon as possible. In this way the pro-Khatami political groups can make the election climate more dynamic, said the daily.

Iranian Artists Take Part in Sharja World Fair 2001

SIASAT-E ROUZ International Art Fair 2001 opened on Tuesday, April 17 with 150 artists from around the world. The Iranian artists who are taking part in the fair are Hossein Khosrojerdi, Shirin Ettehadieh, Afshan Ketabchi, and Taher Sheikholhokamaei.
