TEHRAN The national karate team of Iran of the shotokan VSKF style that had participated in the world contests in Ukraine, could snatch the championship title of men's competitions, announced the Iranian Karate Federation Tuesday.

Iran managed to take 6 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze medals in the competitions finished on Monday and ranked first. The host team of Ukraine and Armenia finished second and third respectively.
