Cooperative Ministry to Meet 50% of Cost for Productivity

TEHRAN Cooperative Minister Morteza Haji said here Sunday that his ministry is ready to bear 50 percent of the cost for raising productivity and quality of products.

Haji told the joint nationwide Cooperative Chamber Seminar and the closing ceremony of the Second Cooperative Sector Export Potentials Exhibition (June 13-17), that the budget will be put at the disposal of the units which intend to institutionalize productivity, implement development projects and offer constant training courses for their employees.

Stressing importance of education in the cooperative sector, Haji said that since efficient managers are in demand in the country, they are required to attend training classes.

He said the Cooperative Chamber can strive for privatization of cooperatives.

Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Cooperative Chamber Mohammadreza Ramezani said cooperative chambers are ready to organize exhibitions within the country and abroad to help expansion of non-oil exports by the cooperatives sector, organize productivity training workshops and upgrade quality of products and services of the cooperatives sector.
