Economic Team of President Should Have Practical Plans: MP
"Iran needs to boost its exports and therefore, the MPs expect the banks, especially the Central Bank, as well as the Ministry of Economy to assist the minister of commerce in facilitating the country's exports process," Fakhreddin Saberi said.
Another MP, Rajab Hosseini-Nassab said that although President Mohammad Khatami's current economic team has succeeded in boosting the the country's exports trend, the next cabinet needs more potentials in this regard.
Hosseini-Nassab said that the commerce minister at the first cabinet of President Khatami succeeded to shorten the export procedure, which led to boosting the country's non-oil exports during first five months the current Iranian year, 1380.
"Yet, we are all aware in order to reach the desirable status in that field we need new alterations at the cabinet," he said.
