KUWAIT National track-and-field team of Iran took a bronze medal at the shot-put competitions of the 2nd West Asian Games here Wednesday. Throwing the shot 17.58 meters, the Iranian contestant, Ali Rahmani, stood third and bagged bronze, reported IRNA. Bilal Sa'd of Qatar stole the coveted gold medal with 19.10 meters, followed by Ahmed Gholum of Kuwait with 18.04 meters. The track-and-field contests of the 2nd West Asian Games started on April 10.
