TEHRAN -- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Food Sciences and Industries Specialists Mohammad Hosseini said here on Tuesday that one million jobs can be created by expanding foodstuff exports.

Hosseini told a group of MPs that export of foodstuffs last year brought in a revenue of about $158 million, which is less than the expected target.

He regretted that Iran has a meager share of the $4,000 billion export revenue of foodsuffs worldwide.
