TEHRAN – Tehran’s Sadabad Cultural-Historical Complex will hold a one-day workshop on handcrafting pen-cases, using papier-mâché approach, on May 10.

Papier-mâché is a composite material consisting of paper pieces or pulp, sometimes reinforced with textiles, bound with an adhesive, such as glue, starch, or wallpaper paste.

For centuries papier-mâché has been used in Iran to manufacture small painted boxes, trays and cases.
