TEHRAN- The photo and poster exhibition of the 44th Fajr Theater Festival opened at the Iranian Artists Forum (IAF) in Tehran on Thursday. 

Niloufar Javanshir manages the photography section, while Ashkan Qazanchai oversees the poster section of the exhibition, IRNA reported. 

A total of 60 posters and 60 photographs from participating artists is on display. In the photography competition of the Fajr Theater Festival, a total of 115 artists submitted 547 works, including 60 artists from Tehran and 55 from other cities across the country. Ultimately, 60 pieces from 30 photographers made it to the final stage of the festival. 

Additionally, over 92 graphic designers participated in the poster section, with around 290 works submitted to the festival's secretariat, out of which 60 posters were selected for the exhibition. 

The photo and poster exhibition of the 44th Fajr Theater Festival was previously held for five days in Kerman and welcomed a large number of art lovers and enthusiasts free of charge. 

The opening ceremony of the 44th Fajr International Theater Festival, directed by Seyyed Vahid Fakhr Mousavi, took place on January 17 at the Culture and Art Hall in Kerman. During this event, winners of the photography, poster, research, playwriting, and radio theater sections were announced and honored. 

The 44th International Fajr Theater Festival will be underway in Tehran until February 1.
